In order for us to deliver Unloc (the "Service"), we must process personal information. Personal information means information that can be linked directly or indirectly to you, such as name, address or phone number. IP addresses and information automatically retrieved when using the Service are also considered personal data.

The privacy statement applies to those who send and those who receive and use digital keys. For certified business partners, processing of personal data is governed by the agreement between Unloc and the applicable partner.
When using the Service, we might register the name, address and telephone number of both the sender and recipient. In addition, you can also upload a profile image to help your peers to recognize you when sharing keys.
We register information in relation to your usage of the Service, including (a) to whom and when digital keys are shared, (b) usage of digital keys, (c) the duration and restriction of digital keys, (d) the IP address used, (e) device information, (f) anonymous identifiers, (g) how the Service is used including which features are used, and (h) location information).
We register your user information to deliver the Service at the highest quality and best user experience we can. Examples is assisted and automated login, quick and easy sharing of digital keys, trusted recognition of people with profile photos, and easier identification of locations and locks using addresses.
SMS or push notifications can be sent when applicable to increase security or to notify you about important events. Examples are when verifying your SIM-card on sign-up, when receiving a new digital key invite, or when one of your sent keys are being use to unlock a door.
After your account is created and verified, we will be able to contact you by SMS or phone to assist you and to better learn how you experienced the Service – to help us continuously improve it.
The information is used to better understand how our valued users actually use the Service, with the purpose of further developing and improving the Service.
Based on your use of the service, we can adapt our communication with you to make it as relevant as possible.
Your personal information is handled by multiple IT systems, all developed for specific and necessary operational purposes. In order to ensure both satisfactory operating stability and, in particular, information security, it is necessary to make regular updates, testing, troubleshooting, etc. In relation to this, data cloning and duplication of single systems may be performed. This will take place in a secured and dedicated environment, to ensure that daily operation is not affected.
All information we process as part of internal system testing and quality assurance or the like is subject to the same requirements for information security and rigorous procedures as when the information is processed otherwise.
No copies or backups of personal data will be stored longer than necessary.
We only share your personal information with others if it is necessary for operation of the Service, else we should be bound to such sharing by law, regulation or legal process. Any sharing beyond this requires your consent. This does not prevent us from using data servers to process personal information on our behalf (subject to a data processing agreement).
Certified business partners will get access the following information:
- Contact information (name, address, lock alias and telephone number).
- Time window information (duration for when the digital key is active).
You have the right to access the personal information we have registered about you. What personal information you have registered or otherwise stated is shown in your user profile. When you have created a profile, you can change the information we have registered about you directly from the app. If applicable, you can also edit any prospective incorrect personal information. You may also withdraw any consents you have given at any time. Feel free to contact us for assistance.
You can request that we delete the personal information we hold about you unless continued retention is necessary for us to deliver the Service, we need the information in order to document the Service carried out, or further retention is otherwise required by law, including under the Accounting.
We will not, however, save your personal information beyond what is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the treatment and our statutory duties.
We have implemented organizational and technical procedures and measures that will ensure that your personal information is not compromised, not changed inadvertently and is available when required.
We will occasionally update this privacy policy to reflect any changes to the service. Changed privacy policy will in such cases be published on unloc.app. For major changes we will notify you directly in a suitable manner, through the Service, SMS or by phone.
